New tutorial Panel Ring

Ok so this is not carving as such, but it is metal work. Janel, I won't mind if you kill this post because is is not truly carving as such. :P
I put a three part tutorial on my site for some of my intermediate students on how to make a panel ring a little while ago.

Thank you Hans for the link to those tutorial pages. One could see those lessons as preparation for rings ready for carving upon. :P Really, don't worry about it. The tutorials are interesting. To carve upon, or from, any material one must set the stage for the carving. With metal work, you likely would not simply start from a lump of gold or silver as one does with a piece of wood or mammoth ivory, right? Even those materials must be gotten into the starting dimensions for a piece.
