Hi everybody
I want to buy my first piece of boxwood and I found a dealer on ebay.
Can anybody tell me what is a good price and weight per m³ or what
a good moisture for this wood is?
I want to try Netsuke.

Hi Marcus,

You might try a SEARCH for boxwood and or other materials sources on this forum. Boxwood discussions have taken place previously, and some resources/dealers of hard woods are likely mentioned with links to various web sites. Gilmer woods, for instance has boxwood periodically, as well as Eisenbrand. Prices may be listed on their sites. Other resources have also been mentioned.

As far as moisture content, I am not the one with the answers. More members may return to this topic when the holiday season has settled down, and might be able to shed more light on your question.

First I wish a happy new year to all!

@ Janel : thx for helping me, I have found a dealer in germany who answered my questions. He has got a lot of fantastic wood,
now I need '8 days a week'.
But I will try the search function here, too.
