Hello to everyone,
I have been carving only for five years or so and am trying to be proffessional and earn a living from it (against the advice of many) and have found a new direction possibly towards Netsuke. Having said that and having looked with amazement at some of the most beautiful stuff I have ever seen I dont think I will ever earn a living from it.
But one thing for sure Im going to try and do it. For if you dont try you havent lived.

Some of my work is on www.touchingwood.co.uk

I hope that you wont mind me asking a lot of daft questions in the coming weeks and months.

Kind Regards to All
Davey

Hi Davey!

Welcome to The Carving Path forum. I look forward to seeing what you come up with when approaching a tiny, netsuke-sized piece of wood. The miniature furniture must take great control to get all of the little parts to fit and work together. Thanks for the link to your web site.

Hello Davey,

Welcome! For someone carving for such a short time you are doing remarkably well. Good luck with the netsukes.
