It is with enormous sadness that I've just heard that June passed away a few days ago. She was such a wonderful warm, funny and kind person who was a great support to many contemporary netsuke carvers. Good bye June and Thank you.
A memorial and a celebration of her life will be held at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara on Sunday, August 16 2009, at 3pm, followed by a reception in the parish garden.

This is very sad news. I enjoyed her participation at the netsuke conventions and her support and encouragement of the contemporary carvers. For the past week for some reason I have been thinking about her. Thank you Clive, for the news and contact information.
