Hey All,

Just received a posting of a Bonham's catalogue of a major Netsuke collection with associated pieces. Many pieces were owned at one time by the Bushells. Flash option on images allows for incredible magnification, some do offer more than one view. www.bonhams.com and follow your nose.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for the post about this catalog of pieces. Some of the pieces are from The Bluette H. Kirchhoff Collection of Netsuke and Sagemono, which were on display while the International Netsuke Society Convention was taking place in New York City in early July 2009. I remember seeing some of these pieces! It is great to be able to use the Flash feature to see the carving up close.

Had to search! [result HERE - there have been items from the Bushell collection included in several Bonham's auctions over the years]
