Hi all,
Not really sure if this is posted in the right place, but I was going through my Amber supplier's website and in the galleries there was a very good carver. I thought the link might be of interest.

Hi Hans,

I believe that he is not a member. There is not anything written about the artist on that link, only the photos on those pages. Do you think that the blue color comes from using special lighting? It seems that the same piece is more normally colored and blue colored under differing conditions. The relief carving is very enjoyable to see.

The amber goes blue in sunlight and ultra violet light. It is very pretty. It's nice to carve too, sort of like perspex. Not cheap, though.
