Hello again

Greetings all

I'm Ford Hallam. Some of you will know me ( for better or worse :) ) but for those of you who don't I've been a professional goldsmith for about 28 years now and for the last 18 I've specialised almost exclusively in classical Japanese metalwork. I work in both the formal tradition surrounding the Japanese sword, I make the occasional kagamibuta netsuke and am also trying to develop a more personal sculptural format on which to base my continued artistic explorations.

Some of the conversations I've read on this forum of late have piqued my interest so I hope you won't mind me joining in

So that's what the Hallams get up to instead of slaving over a hot bench on a Sunday! Time for you to call 'em to order, Leon, and insist on a bit of rigid discipline around here. :)
