Even more than the arabesques, the animals are very sensitively carved. Good work!

That is some really impressive work! I don't know how you go about carving metal like that but it looks to be very time consuming.

Thanks again Phil. I love seeing your extraordinary work. You make an extremely demanding and laborious process look easy.
Others here may not know, but sense that you are one of the very best.

I recall seeing elsewhere a series of photos showing the relief work in sequence......... :blush:

I remember Phil's post with the relief carving in various stages. I'm pretty sure it was over on the engravingforum.com It was huge help in that it made me realize l was only half done with my metal carving.

I'm still half done...... At least when compared to Phil.

Very good work. I usually don't think of steel as something you can carve.

I like the design, I don't imagine it's easy to harmoniously combine the representational parts with the arabesque design, but you did it.

The execution is flawless.
