Hello

My name is Matthew Parkinson I am a full time blacksmith, knife maker and sword smith from CT. I have just began learning more about carving and inlay to add to my work with only a small amount if it ending up in any of my finished work.

I have found this site to be so use full in finding help when I have had questions along with being a great source on inspiration with all of the fine work displayed here. in terms of carving I have found my self drawn to viking art and Celtic knot work, with an eye to some of the fine knot work and inlay work seen on viking and migration era swords knives and axes.

You have an impressive portfolio. I especially liked the mask collection in armor. The Uruk-hai should have contracted you.
