In a follow-up to the recent chapter meeting announcement, here is more information on the talk at our Feb. 7th meeting:

Jeff Klotz will be giving a talk on contemporary netsuke artist, Ko Baas.  Ko Baas is a very talented and prolific Dutch netsuke carver.  We will focus on his work and his own perspective on his netsuke carving.  A little background information about Ko will be offered, along with some of his thoughts and feelings about his work.  We will look at subjects, such as what inspires him when he creates netsuke and what he is trying to accomplish in his work.  The talk will be accompanied by pictures of some of Kos netsuke.

If you haven't RSPV'd yet, please let me know if you will be attending by calling 212-828-7088 or emailing ddrinnon@mac.com.

Please feel free to bring any netsuke you'd like to show the group.

Please also bring cash for your food/drink.
RSVP to: Diane Drinnon, 212-828-7088 or ddrinnon@mac.com.
Best Regards,
