I was very pleased to read about this. They are mainly talking about sheets of it for utilitarian purposes...

But imagine what beautiful carvings could be made of Golf-Ball--to Apple--to Grapefruit sized spheres or slabs of it!

I love Mother of Pearl. I think that it is so beautiful...

Now they need to get the lead out; and perfect some artificial Ivory--not a plastic substitute; but actual chemical Ivory...
