I show you a job to do in a beautiful folding knife of one of the best and finest craftsmen I know. His name is Javier Vogt, is Argentinian, and I have pride in him as a friend.
The slabs are of ivory, my work was the scrimshaws...

Wow,
is this the dot form?
Is that based on dot size like newspaper photos in the daus of hot lead presses?

BEAUTIFUL WORK! I truly love your compositions with the scroll tying the two sides together - the fine detailing in the puma and then the close up of the eyes - quite inspiring to me - I am working on a cougar design for a relief carving - I can see from your scrimshaw that I need to work a lot more on my texturing(My work is mostly cast and chased sterling silver) to bring out the subtleties of the form.
