The first one is made from extinct stellar sea cow rib bone. It has wonderful texture and color.
The second one is made from Corian, an artificial material used to make countertops, etc. It carves very nicely though.

It has been a crazy summer of work but I finally got some carving done.
The first one is made from extinct stellar sea cow rib bone. It has wonderful texture and color.
The second one is made from Corian, an artificial material used to make countertops, etc. It carves very nicely though.
