The start second time around.....

I thought you might like to see what I get up to.
This is the side of a jewellry box made from glass that I am working on at the moment.
As I said in my title, it is the second time around for the side, as I dropped the first one just as I finished it on the weekend.

Magnus, this is a prototype and I am not too sure as to whether I will paint the design or not. It is deeply carved into the back of the glass, which when painted gives the impression of the flower in the glass a lot better.
To put the whole thing together, I am also playing with warm glass techniques and I also have a glue that I can use with a dovetail joint.
At the moment there is a lot of trial and error going on, which to me is a very interesting past time.
