Hello all. I would like to show you some boxwood netsuke I made recently.

First an Oni mask with small boar tusks used for the horns. Used photo's of old Japanese netsuke as an example for the Oni face.

Then a boar with tusks of antler and the eyes of two different colors horn. Again using old netsuke photo's as examples. A lot from the Japanese carvers and a little bit from me.

Next is a design of my own. A very simple peony netsuke I needed for an antique carved red lacker Inro.

And last a cicade copied from the Japanese carver Harumitsu. Only I did the inside of the wings with more detail.

Hi Ko, nice works! I like specially the cicada, it's very finely made. More of your works, please!

As usual, nice work. Thanks for sharing the photo's. I haven't carved anything for a while, but I'm getting the urge again. Might try a netsuke as I haven't done one yet. Gotta give it some thought, what to carve, what to carve.
