Patrick Hastings
Thanks Janel, I am having a blast taking flower shots this spring. I took this one on my holiday while flower hunting. The fellow was nice enough to sit still for me rather than slither away at the speed of light like his friends.

Garrett McCormack
Wow nice shot! Wonderful detail, yes I wonder how you convinced him to sit still like that.

Doug Sanders
your dogwoods are blooming ? I'm waiting for the buds to burst on mine (Central Indiana). Bulbs are up though and my sugar snaps have broken through the surface.
Guest DFogg
It's Spring here in Alabama. The leaves are almost out, everything has that new green tinge to it. We have had a lot of rain, but the first sunny day and everything will explode.

Garrett McCormack
The dogwoods are so beautiful down here. Draped in spanish moss, even at their most verdant they look to me like lithe grey-bearded men. The variety we have here in north Florida is somewhat peculiar; they rarely live more than 50 years and usually around 30 I believe. Disease usually sets in then. I have never really carved any...but then I suppose the only pieces I have played with have been small storm-broken branches.
