Hello all,

after being nagged for what seemed like an age I finally gave in and set my youngest son, Joel (5 and a half ), up at a work-bench of his own. He's loving it! ;)

So this is your official notice fellas, the pressure is on now  .

now I'll only get any work done when he's at school.

Bummer, another competitor. Let's see, five years to go on his apprenticeship under the old man, his first show at age eleven, sold out in just minutes to the raving acclaim of art critics and Japanalia collectors. Hallam the Elder and Hallam the Younger. Or maybe he'll just go by "Hallam, the Good Looking One." Guess I'll just sell my tools and take up knitting!

thanks everyone for the kind comments :) , it just felt right to capture the moment for posterity :D

I like that Tom, "Hallam the younger", or perhaps Hallam the youngest. Not sure "the good looking one" would work though. What with Clive, our younger bother Guy and my eldest son Kyle who's 15. We're a competitive bunch and the rest of them would probably all claim that title. ;), I'll fake some modesty.....
