Guest DFogg
This weekend I spent some time looking over the work of our members and am really pleased. This is becoming a gathering of world class artisans. Despite the many disciplines involved, we all share a love of beauty and are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. Ours is basically a path filled with solitude and challenges that few can understand, but that makes this group all the more special. What we have are people who speak the same language despite coming from the four corners of the globe. Thank you for joining and sharing with us. I know I look forward to seeing what others are doing, what insights they have gained. If you haven't posted please do, the more we participate, the more valuable this will become. If you know of someone who would enjoy our community, please invite them to join us. Thanks
Janel
Thank you Don for your thoughtful words and encouragements. Watching the forum grow, meeting all of the participating members here has been enriching. I, too, look forward to seeing what other carvers from all around the world are willing to share with us here. My geographic isolation from other carvers remains only physical, while sharing thoughts and images on the forum and through email brings us all together. Thank you to every one of you who are part of the membership of The Carving Path. You are inspiring! Janel
Jim Kelso
Ours is basically a path filled with solitude and challenges that few can understand, but that makes this group all the more special. What we have are people who speak the same language despite coming from the four corners of the globe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Even though I've been so busy lately and had little time for the forum, I've been checking in and it's very gratifying to see a community building that's so diverse but unified at the same time. Janel
The sentiments in the above messages remain true. I continue to meet new friends from around the world, and enjoy learning about the carving path each one is on. Thank you all. Janel
