Ford Hallam netsuke

OK, I'm taking the bit in my mouth and posting a photo of Ford Hallam's work so you will know he is not just blowing smoke.

This piece is a few years old, but i love it just the same. A kagamibuta netsuke with a raised silver bowl(buta) and kagami(inset plate) in copper, shibuichi and shakudo eye, I believe.

I'll try to find my photo of the back as well.

Thanks Jim,

for posting a piccie of my work. I`ve been meaning to intoduce myself more formally but have been reluctant to do so without putting an example of my work out there. I`m looking into getting a decent digital camera soon so I`ll be able to post images on a regular basis. Now the genie is out of the bottle I suppose I`ll have to do the honourable thing.

Thanks also to you Janel for your very kind words.

Watch this space for the next instalment, coming soon.....

ford ;)

Hey, Clivey

You`re were up late. What do you mean?, casting nastursiums (sic ) on my work, but perhaps I should accept that even I can have a "bad hare day" :P

Sorry, thats the best I can do, still suffering much with clogged sinuses :(

ta ra,
