DanM
You didn't state what you wanted to use this sander for. This model is powered by a flex shaft and is very under powered .A better general belt sander would be the 2 X 42 or 4 X 36 from sears. Chuck Leake
I have a 6 x48 Delta sander but was looking for a bench sander for small work.
jon m ryan
I have had it for about 3 years. Since it attaches to a flex shaft you can run it at whatever speed you want, that was why I found it attractive. I rarely use it now. Partly because I no longer have a permanent place to clamp it near my flexshaft and its usually not worth setting it up just to use for a minute. But it has pretty much been replaced by the NSK fine belt sander for the E-max micromotor. That set up is way more expensive, but it's much better suited for the work I do and I use it almost daily. Here is something else you may find interesting: http://www.ottofrei.com/store/product.php?...3490&page=
