1890sands
Hi guys/gals, New to this site, but we just got this awesome wood carved lizard from an estate sale and was wondering if anyone knows where it might have originated? We do a little wood working and carving but this was just exceptionally eye catching, if you know can you give us a clue? thanks 1890 sands
Nelson Lepine
Hi- I'm thinking your carving was probably done in Indonesia. I think that's Manzanita root that it's carved from. There were quite a few carvings around here like that around 10 years ago but would be harder to find now.
