cristiansilva
I want to show a job with the technique of Scrimshaw. This is really what I do. It was made in deer antler, with the technique of single points, colored with artist's oil paintings. Hope you like, Cristian.

Not being too familiar with Scrimshaw techniques, what is single point? Thanks for sharing the photo and please. And please, more.

magnus homestead
Hello Christian, Very fine work - beautiful expression. How large is this piece - are you using just the tip of an antler? Again, very wonderful! Thank you for your sharing, Magnus
cristiansilva
Here I show you a picture with my finger for size comparison. Magnus, The antlers in not just the tip, is a slab, I use the antler of a deer native of Argentina, we call axis deer, their antlers are almost solid except for a channel that passes through the center them. Natasha, I am passionate about the human figure and I strive to capture the nature and its expression. Mike, thanks so much !!
