My comfort zone I guess... chur chur Hi Taveatoa I just love this new stone we got great to work. as far as carving we use diamond tool when working jade carve it wet some jade will pop if you do it dry. then hand sand it starting out with 400 grit wet and dry sand paper (we use diamond paper) and work your way up to 1000 grit. to polish final sanding with 1000 grit dry at high speed the you can buff with cotton wheel with tin oxide. so carvers then do final polish with tin oxide and leather. theres a lot of tool carver make there owen to do the final sanding and polishing with. you can just do the 1000 grit dry by hand and get a nice semi gloss look just depends on the jade every piece is diffrent. hope this helps cheers terry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
