It's not a carving!

I'm in the process of building a one man or "sneak boat". It is approximately 10' 4" long and 31" at the widest part. It weighs about 50 lbs. Thought some of you might like to look at it. We use this type boat for fishing the blackwater rivers and creeks here in this part of NC.

Hei Don, for me your boat seems safety enough, the bottom is flat and I would imagine that it is not that easy to have it up side down. I might have it all wrong but so I feel. I would love to test such a boat, looks very nice and finely made too! Lauri

Janel, Most people put a small "Trolling motor" on them. However, they are made to be paddled and the originals were using two small paddles, one in each hand. When paddled the person used one hand while fishing and two hands to move to another spot.

I'm thinking very seriously of doing a book on the construction of these boats.
