Really beautiful freeform! Your chalcedony is gorgeous, too. I particulary like the undercuts.

 

What are you using for polishing? Wooden wheels with diamond and oil? Whatever you are using, you are getting a great finish.

 

Thanks for posting this and the agate photo, always nice to see what others are doing.

Thank you for your kind words.

I use wooden dowels that I buy at the home center. I cut the dowels to length and chuck them directly into my flex shaft and shape them with a large file. I use diamond compound, I prefer the paste from Mt. Mist. Depending on the material, I work up to between 3,000 and 14,000 grit. I normally finish with cerum oxide or mt. mist super polish. The problem I encounter with polishing is that some jewelers want a high polish and some want a matte finish and something in between, ARGH!
