Doug Sanders
That's a great form! Is there much variation possible in the overall arrowhead shape? Looks as though it provides a nice canvas for inlays of mon (crests) or other detailing, plus using one's skills in blade honing. Really nice and crisp! Jim Kelso
Very nice pierced work, Dan. Lots of possibilities in that space. Sorry for the slow response. We've missed Janel.
Doug Sanders
out of curiosity, what is the intended use (or shall we say, target ) of the forked arrow heads?
DanM
from the research i have seen, the forked arrowheads are called rope cutters. the width of the total fighting rope cutters is only about an inch and a quarter,so there is some debate as to the actual use of these arrowheads. the ones on the website link are up to over 2 inches wide and were made soley as an artform.
