Mammoth Ivory Carving In Progress

Hi Dan

Antler or bone dust is good for the garden . Bone meal is what they call it . I collect it in a bucket every once in a while and when the bucket is full , on to the garden or compost it goes . Those tools are part of what I use daily when I carve . I wear out files .

The antler handles on the files you see I made when I was a teenager . The shiny brass part is the end of a cartrige shell and is the most used file .
