aldoi
Here are some of the items I have carved, they are; opals, mexican parrot wing, Tagua nut, Olive pit , the pictures I loaded in my introduction were too big and very poor quality. These the quality leaves a lot to be desired but at least they are smaller files. Will welcome all kinds of criticism, suggestions etc.speacially any suggestions on polishing nuts. I only use power tools on the stones the rest I use believe it or not a box cutter. JP Anderson
Looking good. I really like opal and hope to incorporate it into my silver carving at some point in the near future. Thanks for sharing. I think the pictures of the next to the last carving, the hand/face, are a nice size to view online. Personally I find honest critique very important to my development but still it bruises my ego. This is meant as kind feedback not criticism. I prefer the first couple of opal carvings and the pendant. The faces not so much. Your avatar carving is my favorite. Thanks for sharing. It'll be fun to see your carvings in the coming years. David Ward
I love the opal, the colors are great. Interesting use of togua nuts, I have carved them, I found polishing them did not work very well without some "polishing compound" of some sort. The togua carvings I made that are now a few years old and have browned somewhat, I gave them away a few months ago and can't find a picture.
