Janel
During these anxious hours and days, my thoughts are of the safety of our family and friends, and The Carving Path members who live in the eastern portion of the United States. I hope that you are all safely riding out the storm. Janel

Steve0
Thanks for that, Janel. We have a daughter in Manhattan - Chinatown - 5th floor (thank goodness) and hope to hear from her soon that she's safe and as dry and comfy as can be had under the circumstances. Edward Twilbeck
Having been through several Hurricanes on the Miss. Gulf coast, and after losing a home and a wood working studio in 2005 with Katryna, I really feel for the people on the east coast. After the storm with no power, and hope to keep getting food, water, and fuel is always hard, I cannot imagine doing that in the cold. Just think about living without all the comforts for a week or so. If you have some friends or loved ones in the area that Sandy hit Check on them, and if you can help them do so ,,,It will mean a lot , and it will go a long way to help those that are in the affected area. I have been there and done that. Just a call from a friend helps. Any body that has lost everything,, can always use whatever you have to give, even if it is just a call saying I love you.
