Darryn R
hi Kiyoshi that is very clever - the smoke rings are a nice touch. How are these animated? I can't work out what is making them move? Cheers Darryn
Kiyoshi Yoshii
Hi Darryn I'm very glad you have interest on my works specially on the steam locomotive. Nestor M
Hello Yoshii, Automaton is something I have been doing for many years. I love mechanical things, things that spin, vibrate, move up and down and side to side. The mechanics are simple and the finished pieces are beautiful to look at. They relax me... Your Automatons are beautiful to look at. My children and I were very much amazed by your Ako-chan skipping rope. How does Ako-chan jump and suspend in the air as the metal rope traverswes above her???? That is brilliant and I would like to learn that from you. Please continue your excellent work as you have made an old man and his children, very happy. Thank you and be well, Nestor
Kiyoshi Yoshii
Hello Nestor, I'm glad you look at my works. I thank you for reply. You've been doing it for many years! I'm truly more happy to meet you love same hobby as me. I'd like to look at your works. Where can I look at them? Your children were amazed too! It's wonderful. It's my cherished desire. How does Ako-chan jump and suspend in the air? The principle of this system is as follows. A horizontal fishing-line is hanging Ako-chan. A rope: wire is turning around its fishing-line. Ako-chan jumps when the fishing-line is tensioned. I can't explain it accurately because of my poor english ability. I hope you maybe find answer by careful looking of video below. This is my hobby but my life work after retire. I'd like to contact you sometime again. Thank you and you be well too, Yoshii
