JerryH
Hi ya'll! I am Jerry from the Dallas area and I have been carving about a year and a half. I do mostly walking sticks, caricatures and indian busts. I am looking forward to picking up some good ideas and information on this forum. JerryH
DanM, No, I am not. The nearest club is in one of the far northeast suburbs and I am in a suburb southwest of Dallas. Too far to drive in heavy traffic! We travel extensively in our RV and I am not home enough to get really involved in one. I will leave later this month to go back to Creede, CO for the Creede Woodcarving Rendezvous. This is my third visit there and the second time to take the weeklong carving seminars. It is a lot of fun. Jerry
DanM
Jerry, here is a link to a group my wife and i stumbled upon last spring. their little show was filled with outstanding canes, walking sticks, etc. we signed up for a 2 day chip carving class, and i wish we had known about it before. we would have spent a week with them. oakdale park wood carvers
