Dick Bonham
Hi, I wanted to share with all of you the final stage of the three year journey to create the Amos Alonzo Stagg Sr. and Jr. Memorial at Susquehanna University. Here is the unveiling of the memorial by the Stagg family and the donors of the memorial. For those of you not very knowledgeable in football lore (myself included) Stagg was the most famous football coach in history. He invented much of the game of football and believe it or not he was the the co-inventor of basketball. He is in both the football and basketball hall of fame. He was born in 1862 and died in 1965 and coached into his late 90's. For those who haven't seen the past pictures of the sculpting and casting process please check out my past posts. Thanks, Dick
