Ko Baas
This icosaeder I made using a metal icosaeder shape on wich I first glued ebony ribs and them inlaid all 20 sides with all kinds of materials and made with different techniques. Janel
WOW! This is an amazing piece! What a fun challenge it must have been! I imagine this was a good exercise of technical skills. I already have some favorite triangles. It would be a real treat to see it in person. Ko, thank you for sharing!
toscano
Ko, that is really well-made. Beautiful work. Could you tell us what size the triangles are? -t
tsterling
Nice work, Ko! You've been busy - are you still sane after all of that?
Ko Baas
Yes Tom, I'm still sane. By the way, thank you very much for your wondefull E-book. I used your technique for inlaying thin elements on the spider. The triangles have sides of 4.5 cm. The height of the icosaeder is almost 9 cm. It contains 40 different materials.
